The German-speaking SAP User Group: Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe e.V. (DSAG) in Walldorf is the independent lobby for users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The umbrella organisation, which was founded on 25th June 1997 as a registered association, has established itself as the largest SAP user group worldwide.

The work of DSAG is based on three pillars – network, exchanging experience and exercising influence. The exchange amongst the members is a cornerstone of DSAG’s philosophy and self-conception. We aim to get the collective experiences, requirements and the arising demands of our members to flow into SAP’s product development. This is what happens primarily in the more than 150 special interest groups and work groups focused on industries, technologies and processes.  

Based on this, we offer our members exclusive information on SAP strategies, (product) developments and services at an early stage. The user group is the communication platform in the German-speaking SAP environment. Due to this active and close cooperation we have become a “Trusted Advisor” of SAP.

Despite our cooperative and close collaboration with SAP, we have always remained independent – both from an organisational and also from a financial point of view. This is the basis of our credibility. This fact contributes not only to the great significance which we have in the meantime acquired within in the SAP environment, but also to that within the entire IT industry. Our aim is to strengthen and develop this role model – even beyond national borders. For this reason DSAG is also involved in Austria, Switzerland and increasingly on the international scene.
