Constructive but sometimes also critical

The constructive and critical cooperation takes place at all levels. In the committees there is an intensive cooperation between members and their SAP contacts on their specific topics; the DSAG office is in constant contact with the SAP support team; and the DSAG Executive Board maintains a strategic dialogue with the management of SAP Deutschland as well as with the Executive Board of SAP AG. This formation has intensified in the course of the years due to an increasing openness arising from joint successes on both sides. As a result of an official cooperation agreement, DSAG has become an official “Trusted Advisor” of SAP since 2000, this agreement includes the following general conditions:

• Direct cooperation with SAP contact persons at all levels.

• Immediate and real-time information flow on further developments of SAP software and service products and also market trends.

• Preferred handling of DSAG development requests with regular status reports from SAP. 

• DSAG involvement in SAP development planning.

• Acceptance of DSAG’s leading role amongst the European SAP user groups.

Additional agreements have followed in the meantime:  

SLA (Service Level Agreement) Development requests 

• Acceptance of previously agreed and prioritised development requests 
• Qualified response by SAP within 12 weeks

Establishment of the PIT (Product Influencing Team) Concept

• Standardisation and implementation of the cooperation between the SAP Development Department, the special interest groups and the PITs.
